L`abîme de feu
Born in Russia in 1907, Irina Tweedie was raised to Vienna and Paris, then she settles in England. Uneasy by the premature death of her husband in 1954, she tried to give a sense to her life. Her quest led her some years later in India where, in 1961, she found her way by a main soufi master who upset her life. This master asked her to hold a diary of her observations. From this diary this book has been pulled ten years later.
The author describes us here her experience of Liberation: It is the report of the personality's slow dissolution - painful process because man cannot make it without suffering. I had hoped to receive an instruction by yoga... I was then facing my night inside... I was ground in all senses of the term until I enter in contact in me with what I had rejected all my life... "
" Book of an extreme value, retracing day by day, nearly simultaneously, the experience of emancipation of a woman on the way of sufism, in which the observer and the field of experience make only one. Voluntary death, named "fan" by the soufis, until it remains only ashes, so that from these ashes get born again a new life and an absolute liberty. Extinction of the old man so that can appear the New man."
